The Community Care Centre embraces people infected and affected by HIV & AIDS. It empowers individuals to live with dignity and with a hope for the future.  The project provides investigation facilities and treatment in partnership with four leading hospitals in Calcutta.        

The centre provides:

  • Facilities for primary health checkup and appropriate treatment
  • Short stay unit for children and women with nursing care
  • A drop-in centre for children and adults
  • Pre & post WHAT counseling to individual, family and groups
  • Monthly Support meetings for fellowship and distribution of free nutritional supplements
  • Community preventive intervention and awareness programmes
  • Networking with other agencies such as CBOs and NGOs in the same field
  • Referral service and legal support
  • Income generation program and self help groups
  • Additional nutrition and education support for children
